Creating a limited-edition collaboration to help two Kent food brands drive customers into both shops during a quieter trading period.

Both Bears Ice Cream and Fudge Kitchen were looking for ways to maintain footfall during the shoulder season, when visitor numbers to Kent drop significantly. Neither brand had the budget for a large paid campaign, but both had loyal local followings and strong product identities.
Rather than running separate promotions, the strategy was to combine the two audiences through a product collaboration that felt genuinely exciting rather than transactional. A limited-edition ice cream flavour incorporating Fudge Kitchen's signature fudge gave both brands a story to tell and a reason for customers to visit both locations.
Developed the partnership concept and managed the relationship between both founders. Created the messaging and launch plan, drafted social media content for both brands, coordinated a press release targeting regional food and lifestyle titles, and briefed a photographer for the product shoot.
The collaboration generated coverage in local media, drove footfall to both shops during the launch week and created content that both brands continued to use across their channels for several months.
